I started making Body Butter when I first started this business in early 2018, and I've been on a quest since then to create a body butter so creamy and alluring that you will want to shower just so you can use it.
I have finally perfected it.
Think of yourself stepping out of the shower and being whisked away on a soft, pillowy cloud - that's how this Body Silk feels when applied.
So, what makes this body butter different from anything else on the market?
Most body butters are pretty thick, sometimes pretty greasy as well. There are ingredients that can be used to cut down on the greasiness, but still it can be really heavy depending on the types of oils and butters used.
I've come up with a combination of ingredients that allows this body butter to be lightweight and fluffy - the same texture as whipping cream. This product is delightfully silky, hence the name 'Body Silk'.

1. Aloe Butter Blend. This is a blend of aloe vera oil which is hydrating to the skin, and coconut oil. The combination of the two bring you the benefits of aloe vera while the coconut oil adds a little firmness to it allowing this to be whipped beautifully.
2. Shea Butter. While only a small amount is used, this also adds firmness to the body butter and whips up beautifully. Shea Butter is considered to be high in vitamins and minerals. High concentrations of fatty acids make this butter super nourishing and softening to the skin.
3. Squalane is derived from Olives, and is similar to the sebum our skin produces naturally. It's believed to lubricate and protect the skin. This oil is ultra light, and is a main ingredient that allows this body butter to have it's silky feeling.
I decided to make a larger size available that can be customized to your liking. Any fragrance I have in stock is available, as well as any essential oils that aren't a concern for photo-sensitivity.
I've always been one for Body Butter, but I've been searching for one with just the right texture, and this is it.
